Swan — Milena

Posted by on Jan 15, 2013 in New | 1 comment

A few days ago, I was contacted by a skin designer wanting to get my opinion on a new skin range she had created.  As you well know, I don’t really review skins too much as my heart has been given to Glam Affair, Adam n Eve and Lara Skins; and there are usually other bloggers that really go into skins and verify every details.

I am more of a “As Long As I Look Like Me, I Am Happy” kinda gal, but then it never hurts to try out something new… So I got to discover the Swan brand and the Milena skin by Natsuki Bailey.

So Milena comes with:

  • 6 different Make Ups
  • 5 Skin Tones: Fair, Cream (in Make up view), Tan, Ivory, Noire.
  • Enhanced Chest Version in addition to Regular one.

The Make up is fairly simple and straight forward, I believe I needed to modify my mouth shape a little to make it work (for me) but the feature I loved the most were the really great work on the Eyebrows!!!

I totally fell in love with them at first sight!

However, I need to point out that in the pack I received to review, there were no blonde and redhead options.  Though, I can say that it did not look odd to wear light blonde hair with this skin. The blending of those brows is smart enough that it did not look odd or too dark to wear with my usual blondie hair.

I will admit that I did not examine every micron of the skin to find seams or what not, but overall it looked really lovely to me, and no major issues jumped to me whilst examining it for the first time.

My only observation would be that the Noire (very dark skin) seemed to have a strong red undertone to me. Since, I do not wear these dark skins, I cannot fairly comment as it being a no no or not. It would really be a personal choice and taste thing. Which is why we have demos!  I always recommend trying a skin and relying on your own decision and choice before saying yay or nay!

To get a free DEMO, do not hesitate to go to the Marketplace store and check it out, here is the link: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/stores/14175

Why not give it a try, I have to say that the Cream version did not leave me disappointed at all.
